protecting our environment is a shared responsibility
On Tuesday, 4 August, our colleagues Anna, Chiara and Ingrid proudly represented TOS People during Stage 4 – South Side of the Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour. The team came together near Neeltje Jans before setting out to clean a 5-kilometre stretch of coastline. After several hours of walking, searching and collecting litter, our colleagues had gathered an impressive 6 kilograms of waste. Every piece of rubbish removed makes a difference and helps protect our beaches, wildlife and the sea.
Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour
Over 14 days, hundreds of volunteers come together to clean the entire Dutch coastline as part of this inspiring initiative. From Cadzand to Den Helder, participants remove litter from the beaches while raising awareness of the impact marine litter has on our environment and communities. The stage took place near Neeltje Jans, an artificial island in Zeeland that forms part of the Oosterschelde Storm Surge Barrier. Today, it is also home to an educational and visitor centre dedicated to the Dutch Delta Works.
At TOS People, we believe that protecting our environment is a shared responsibility. By supporting initiatives such as the Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour, we can make a small but meaningful contribution to a cleaner coastline and a healthier environment for future generations.
