Last month, our Port & Logistics division attended Breakbulk Europe 2026 in Rotterdam, where thousands of professionals from across the global project cargo and breakbulk industry came together. For our team, the event was all about reconnecting with clients, partners and familiar faces, while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere both on and off the exhibition floor.
OUR PORT & LOGISTICS TEAM
As always, Roel Latuheru, Niels Trompetter, Ilonka Poldervaart and Quentin de Puijker enjoyed catching up with industry professionals in the exhibition’s informal setting. Arthur Roest and Sabine Pels, who recently joined TOS’s Work2Learn department, had a great time meeting many people from the industry and expanding their network. Once again, Breakbulk Europe proved to be the place where conversations quickly turn into valuable business relationships.
A special thank you goes to RPPC and the Port of Rotterdam for the excellent organisation and warm hospitality throughout the event at the Port of Rotterdam Pavilion. For the fifth consecutive year, we joined 26 Rotterdam-based companies to represent our region. On Tuesday evening, the Breakbulk Boulevard provided the perfect opportunity to continue conversations in a relaxed atmosphere in the vibrant heart of Rotterdam.
FUTURE PROOF WORKFORCE
One of the highlights at our stand was the “How Future-Proof Is Your Workforce?” quiz, which sparked many interesting conversations about attracting, developing and retaining talent in the logistics sector. As labour markets continue to evolve and the demand for skilled professionals grows, these discussions reinforced the importance of investing in people, developing talent and building the workforce needed to support the logistics industry of tomorrow. These are topics that closely align with TOS People’s mission to connect skilled logistics professionals with leading companies.
